An Attractive Mitigation Bank The PWWR, located
in Copley Township just west of Akron, is under development on a 150-acre
farm. Rich Carlisle muck soil, once drained to produce a variety of
vegetables, now stands ready for the propagation of wetland plants and
wildlife. Learn the History of PWWR |

Unique
Qualities
PWWR received its permit
from the Ohio EPA and Army Corps of Engineers on September 2, 1999. Upon
preliminary inspection, PWWR was given a high anticipated success rating. In
addition to an existing sub-surface wetland seed bank, most of the natural
hydrology can be easily restored on this well isolated site. Learn
